Sonic Seizure, Instant, designed by Terese Nielsen first released in May, 2020 in the set Torment.
This card could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that focuses on dealing damage quickly to the opponent or their creatures. However, there are better options available such as Lightning Bolt, which deals the same amount of damage without the additional cost of discarding a card. Due to the drawback of discarding a card at random, Sonic Seizure may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
