The Searchlight Companion would be a great addition to a white-blue token or flying deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing both a flying threat and a token generator. While it is a decent card for its cost, there are potentially better options like Squadron Hawk or Lingering Souls that offer more value in terms of card advantage and board presence. However, if you're looking to fill out your deck with additional token generators or flying creatures, the Searchlight Companion could still see play in the right build.
