This Orcish Librarian card could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on manipulating the top of the library, such as a red deck that utilizes cards with scry effects or cards that care about the order of the library. However, in competitive play, there are more efficient options available like Sensei's Divining Top or Scroll Rack that offer more control over card selection without the randomness of exiling cards. While Orcish Librarian has a unique and fun effect, it may not be the optimal choice for a competitive deck.
