About Menagerie Liberator

Menagerie Liberator, Creature — human warrior, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Aug, 2016 in the set Conspiracy: Take the Crown.

A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and attacking multiple opponents simultaneously, such as a multiplayer or commander deck, would benefit from including Menagerie Liberator. Its Melee ability can quickly pump up its power and toughness when attacking multiple opponents, making it a strong threat on the battlefield. While there may be other cards with similar effects or better stats, Menagerie Liberator can still be a solid inclusion in decks that aim to overwhelm opponents with a flurry of attacks.

Rules

08/23/16

Melee will trigger if the creature with melee attacks a planeswalker. However, the effect counts only opponents (and not planeswalkers) that you attacked with a creature when determining the bonus.

08/23/16

You determine the size of the bonus as the melee ability resolves. Count each opponent that you attacked with one or more creatures. It doesn’t matter if the attacking creatures are still attacking or even if they are still on the battlefield. It also doesn’t matter if the opponent you attacked is still in the game.
