A deck that focuses on card draw and has ways to quickly refill its hand would benefit from using Heightened Awareness, as the additional card drawn each turn can help maintain card advantage. However, there are better options like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Rhystic Study that offer more versatile and consistent card advantage without the drawback of discarding your hand. Overall, while Heightened Awareness can be situationally useful, it may not be the optimal choice for competitive play in most cases.
