This Haunter SF 40 card could be beneficial in a disruption or control deck strategy, allowing players to disrupt their opponent's resources by returning Trainer, Supporter, or Stadium cards from the discard pile to their hand. However, in a competitive setting, there may be better options available that offer more consistent disruption or stronger abilities, such as Gengar & Mimikyu-GX which can also dish out damage while disrupting. Haunter SF 40 could see play in more casual or themed decks for its unique ability, but may not be a top choice in highly competitive environments.
