**Tainted Treats** would fit best in a Golgari (black‑green) midrange or Food‑synergy deck, especially in Standard or casual environments where flexibility and incremental value matter; being able to destroy either an artifact or creature at instant speed is solid, and generating a Food token against cheaper targets adds life gain and sacrifice synergy (great with cards that care about artifacts, life gain, or sacrificing permanents). That said, in most competitive formats there are stronger options: **Assassin’s Trophy** (hits any permanent), **Abrupt Decay** (uncounterable and very efficient), **Putrefy** (same cost, no mana value restriction for value, though no Food), **Tear Asunder** (exiles and can hit more with kicker), and **Maelstrom Pulse** (broader removal) are generally more powerful or flexible; even **Go for the Throat** is more mana‑efficient if you only need creature removal.
