A deck that focuses on self-mill strategies, graveyard recursion, or combo decks that can win quickly after reshuffling like Ad Nauseam could benefit from including Sway of the Stars. However, it is a high-cost card that may be too slow for competitive play, and there are better options like Time Spiral which costs less and can provide card advantage without resetting the board entirely, making it a more versatile and powerful choice. Ultimately, Sway of the Stars may not see much play in most decks due to its high mana cost and the potential drawbacks of resetting the game state.
