Mega Heracross ex PFL 4, Pokémon - basic mega ex, designed by 5ban Graphics first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Mega Heracross ex (PFL 4) would fit best in a **Grass-type tank or retaliation-style deck** that focuses on soaking damage and hitting back harder, since Juggernaut Horn scales based on how much damage it took the previous turn, making it stronger in a bulky, healing, or damage-manipulation build (for example with cards that increase HP or reduce damage). However, at four Energy to attack and with the heavy drawback of giving up **3 Prize cards** when Knocked Out, it is generally inefficient compared to stronger Mega or modern Grass attackers that hit harder for less Energy or have better effects—such as Mega Sceptile-EX in its era, or more modern Grass Pokémon ex/VSTAR that accelerate Energy and apply pressure faster. Its damage output is inconsistent, it lacks built-in Energy acceleration, and discarding only 2 cards from the opponent’s deck is usually too minor to justify the cost, so competitively it would not see much play unless used casually or in a themed Mega deck.
