About Impolite Entrance
Impolite Entrance, Sorcery, designed by Scott Murphy first released in Jan, 2026 in the set Lorwyn Eclipsed.
**Impolite Entrance** fits best in aggressive red decks—especially **Red Aggro**, **Gruul Aggro**, or go-wide/token strategies—that want to push damage quickly and keep cards flowing. Granting **haste** lets you immediately pressure opponents or surprise them with a large creature, while **trample** helps push damage through blockers; the fact that it **draws a card** makes it low-risk and keeps momentum going. That said, there are often stronger options depending on format: **Temur Battle Rage** (for double strike lethality), **Monstrous Rage** (cheap pump plus trample), **Ancestral Anger** (card draw plus scaling power), or **Reckless Charge** (more immediate damage for low cost) can be more explosive or mana-efficient. While Impolite Entrance is solid in limited or budget builds thanks to replacing itself, it’s unlikely to see significant competitive play unless the format strongly rewards cheap cantripping combat tricks with haste.
