**Here Comes a New Hero!** would fit best in a blue-based ramp or control deck that can generate large amounts of mana, since the card scales with X and rewards you for casting it late; Commander (especially Simic or Izzet value decks) is the most natural home, where big mana and powerful creature targets are common and copying something like a Titan, Dockside Extortionist, or a huge utility creature while also drawing cards can swing the game. However, at XUU it is extremely inefficient compared to existing options: **Blue Sun’s Zenith**, **Stroke of Genius**, or **Pull from Tomorrow** are better pure card-draw spells, while **Clone**, **Spark Double**, **Rite of Replication**, or **Cackling Counterpart** are far more mana-efficient cloning effects; even **See Double** or **Sublime Epiphany** offer much stronger flexibility at competitive costs.
