Growlithe SW 89, Pokémon - basic, designed by Kagemaru Himeno first released in May, 2022 in the set Secret Wonders.

A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from including Growlithe SW 89, as its Roar attack can disrupt your opponent's strategy by forcing them to switch their active Pokémon with a benched one. However, there are better options available, such as Ninetales from the same set, which has a similar effect but with additional benefits like burn damage. Growlithe SW 89 could see play in a budget deck or as a tech card, but for a more competitive deck, other options may be more effective.
