Goliath Daydreamer would fit best in a red-based spellslinger or Izzet (blue-red) tempo/combo deck that runs a high density of impactful instants and sorceries, especially extra-turn spells, extra-combat spells, big burn, or powerful draw spells, since it effectively turns each spell into repeatable value when you attack; however, it is slow (4 mana, no immediate value, must attack, vulnerable to removal) and requires setup, making it weaker than established options like Mizzix of the Izmagnus (cost reduction engine), Galvanic Iteration-style spell copying, or even creatures like Kess, Dissident Mage (which gives immediate graveyard recursion without needing combat). Compared to Past in Flames or Underworld Breach, which enable explosive combo turns immediately, Goliath is more midrange and combat-dependent, so while it could be fun in a casual spellslinger shell, it is likely too slow and fragile for competitive formats unless built specifically around protecting it and exploiting ext
