Goliath Daydreamer would fit best in a red-based spellslinger or Izzet (blue-red) tempo/combo deck that runs a high density of impactful instants and sorceries, especially extra-turn spells, extra-combat spells, big burn, or powerful draw spells, since it effectively turns each spell into repeatable value when you attack; however, it is slow (4 mana, no immediate value, must attack, vulnerable to removal) and requires setup, making it weaker than established options like Mizzix of the Izmagnus (cost reduction engine), Galvanic Iteration-style spell copying, or even creatures like Kess, Dissident Mage (which gives immediate graveyard recursion without needing combat).
