Espeon ★ pop5 16, Pokémon - basic star, designed by Masakazu Fukuda first released in May, 2022 in the set POP Series 5.
A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from using Espeon Star due to its Purple Ray ability, which can confuse both your own and your opponent's Active Pokémon. This can disrupt your opponent's strategy and give you an advantage in the game. However, in terms of pure damage output, there are better options available in the Pokémon TCG. Cards like Mewtwo & Mew-GX or Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX offer more versatile and powerful attacks, making them more viable choices for competitive play. Espeon Star could still see play in a deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's setup and control the pace of the game.
