A deck that focuses on control and disruption strategies would benefit from using Dewgong RG 3 due to its ability to put the Defending Pokémon to sleep and prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, from opponent's Pokémon-ex. However, there are better options available in the current meta that provide more versatile and powerful effects, such as Suicune from the same set which has a similar attack but with added flexibility. Dewgong RG 3 may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other available options.
