This Bagon card would be beneficial in a deck focused on quickly building up damage counters on itself, such as with cards that can accelerate damage or manipulate damage counters. However, there are likely better options available for competitive play, as the reliance on damage counters can be slow and easily disrupted. Players may find more consistent and powerful cards with higher damage output or more versatile abilities to include in their decks instead of Bagon.
