About Wailmer VIV 31

Wailmer VIV 31, Pokémon - basic, designed by Yukiko Baba first released in May, 2022 in the set Vivid Voltage.

Wailmer VIV 31 can be effectively utilized in a Water-type deck that focuses on energy acceleration, allowing it to maximize the damage output of its Hydro Pump attack by attaching multiple Water Energy cards. Decks that include cards like Blastoise (which can accelerate Water Energy from the deck) or cards that provide energy manipulation, such as Frostmoth, would benefit greatly from Wailmer's potential. However, stronger alternatives like Inteleon VMAX or Suicune V may outperform Wailmer due to their higher base stats and more versatile abilities. While Wailmer can be fun in casual play, it may not be competitive enough to see regular play in top-tier decks.
