About Northern Crossfire

Northern Crossfire, Normal trap card, designed by Konami first released in Jan, 2026 in the set No set and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

“Northern Crossfire” would fit best in a Level 10–centric strategy that can consistently put multiple high-Level monsters on the field, such as Trains (Rank 10 Earth Machines like Gustav Max/Liebe), certain Kaiju builds, or niche Level 10 spam decks like Eldlich variants that pair with other high-Level bodies; these decks can realistically meet the “total Levels 10 or higher” condition and benefit from tutoring or Special Summoning a Level 10 directly from the Deck. However, as a Normal Trap it is inherently slow, requires setup, and competes with far more efficient consistency cards like Urgent Schedule (for Machines), Revolving Switchyard (for Trains), or generic power traps like Infinite Impermanence, which provide immediate impact without such heavy conditions. The second banish effect is decent removal but also setup-heavy and GY-dependent, making it win-more rather than a starter. Overall, while playable in a dedicated casual Level 10 strategy, it is likely too slow and condition
