A deck focused on controlling the board and gaining incremental life advantage would benefit from including Gloom Sower, especially in a black-heavy strategy. While Gloom Sower's ability can provide some value, there are likely better options available for a similar mana cost, such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which has a more impactful life-drain effect. Gloom Sower may not be a top-tier card, but it could be considered for inclusion in certain niche strategies or casual play.
