A deck that focuses on Evolved Pokémon with high energy requirements, such as Stage 2 or Stage 3 Pokémon, would benefit from using Double Rainbow Energy EM 87. This card provides versatile energy acceleration by providing every type of Energy and 2 Energy at a time, making it useful for powering up various attacks quickly. While there may be other energy acceleration cards available, Double Rainbow Energy's unique ability to reduce damage taken by the attached Pokémon adds an extra layer of protection, making it a valuable inclusion in decks that rely on Evolved Pokémon with high energy costs.

Double Rainbow Energy can be attached only to an Evolved Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex). While in play, Double Rainbow Energy provides every type of Energy but provides 2 Energy at a time. (Has no effect other than providing Energy.) Damage done to your opponent's Pokémon by the Pokémon Double Rainbow Energy is attached to is reduced by 10 (before applying Weakness and Resistance). When the Pokémon Double Rainbow Energy is attached to is no longer an Evolved Pokémon, discard Double Rainbow Energy.
