Despoiler of Souls, Creature — horror, designed by Greg Staples first released in Jul, 2015 in the set Magic Origins Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Despoiler of Souls would be a great fit in a black graveyard recursion deck, where you can easily fill your graveyard with creature cards and bring back Despoiler of Souls multiple times for value. While it has the downside of not being able to block, its ability to return from the graveyard can be powerful in the right deck. However, there are potentially better cards like Bloodghast or Gravecrawler that offer similar graveyard recursion abilities with additional benefits, so it may not see play in more competitive decks.
