Choreographed Sparks, Instant, designed by Paolo Parente first released in Apr, 2026 in the set Secrets of Strixhaven and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Choreographed Sparks would fit best in a red-based spellslinger or combo deck that leverages powerful instants and sorceries (like extra turn spells, big burn, or ritual effects) or in a creature-combo shell that wants to double up on high-impact creatures with strong ETB triggers (for example, copying a creature like Dockside Extortionist or a big finisher for immediate value). Its flexibility to copy either a spell or a creature makes it attractive in Izzet (UR) or Jeskai decks that blend creatures and noncreature spells, especially in formats like Commander. The “can’t be copied” clause is occasionally relevant in counter‑copy wars but rarely crucial. At RR it’s reasonably costed, but unless a deck specifically values
