Bench Shield AR 83, , designed by Wataru Kawahara first released in May, 2022 in the set Arceus and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on setting up powerful Pokémon on the Bench and wants to protect them from damage would benefit from using Bench Shield AR 83. However, there are better alternatives such as Big Charm or Air Balloon that provide additional benefits or flexibility. Bench Shield AR 83 could see play in specific situations where damage prevention is crucial, but overall, other Pokémon Tool cards may offer more strategic advantages.

As long as the Pokémon this card is attached to is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to that Pokémon by attacks (both yours and your opponent's).

Attach Bench Shield to 1 of your Pokémon that doesn't already have a Pokémon Tool attached to it. If that Pokémon is Knocked Out, discard this card.
