Shipwreck Moray, Creature — fish, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Jan, 2017 in the set Aether Revolt and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A deck focused on energy generation and utilization, such as a Blue/Red energy deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Shipwreck Moray as it provides a quick energy boost upon entering the battlefield and has a useful ability to pump its power and toughness temporarily. However, there are better cards for energy decks like Aether Swooper or Whirler Virtuoso that offer more versatile abilities and value for the same cost, making Shipwreck Moray less likely to see play in competitive decks.

Energy counters aren’t mana. They don’t go away as steps, phases, and turns end, and effects that add mana “of any type” to your mana pool can’t give you energy counters.

Keep careful track of how many energy counters each player has. You may do so by keeping a running count on paper, by using a die, or by any other clear and mutually agreeable method.
