About Nidoking EVO 45

Nidoking EVO 45, Pokémon - stage 2, designed by Ken Sugimori first released in May, 2022 in the set Evolutions.

Nidoking EVO 45 would fit well in a Psychic-type deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's Pokémon and dealing damage to both the active and benched Pokémon, making it effective in decks that utilize spread damage strategies. While it has strong attacks, there are arguably better options like Mewtwo & Mew-GX, which can copy attacks from other Pokémon and offer more versatility, or even cards like Dragapult VMAX, which can deal damage to the bench while also being a strong attacker. However, Nidoking could still see play in specific builds that capitalize on its unique abilities, especially if the deck aims to disrupt opponents' strategies by preventing retreat and spreading damage effectively.
