Kiawe BUS 144 would greatly benefit a deck that focuses on quickly powering up Fire-type Pokémon to launch powerful attacks. Decks centered around Fire-type Pokémon with high energy requirements, such as Reshiram & Charizard-GX, would find Kiawe extremely useful for accelerating energy attachment. While Kiawe is a strong supporter card for decks needing rapid energy acceleration, some may argue that Welder is a better option due to its ability to attach energy and draw cards simultaneously. However, Kiawe still has its place in certain decks that require a burst of energy attachment without the need for additional card draw, making it a viable option depending on the deck strategy.
