About Duraludon PFL 74
Duraludon PFL 74, Pokémon - basic, designed by Shinji Kanda first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Duraludon PFL 74 is a very simple, single-Prize Metal-type attacker that fits best in a budget or beginner Metal deck that can reliably power up three Metal Energy, possibly alongside basic Energy acceleration like Metal Saucer or support from Bronzong (Metal Transfer) in Expanded formats. Its main value is steady chip damage plus Energy denial through Hyper Beam, which can slow slower, Energy-hungry decks, but 70 damage for three Energy is far below modern power levels. In competitive play, there are significantly stronger options such as Zacian V (which accelerates Energy and hits much harder), Dialga VSTAR (with massive damage and a game-swinging VSTAR Power), or even other single-Prize Metal attackers that offer better damage-to-cost ratios or useful Abilities. Because of its low damage output and lack of additional utility or synergy, Duraludon PFL 74 is generally outclassed and would not see serious competitive play, serving mainly as a casual or theme-deck-style inclusion rather
