A deck focusing on Fire-type Pokémon would benefit from including Cyndaquil SS 59 due to its synergy with other Fire-type cards. However, other basic Pokémon with stronger attacks and abilities may outshine Cyndaquil SS 59, such as Charmander SF 50 which provides more versatility with its Ember attack dealing 10 damage and also allowing the player to attach a Fire Energy card from their hand to Charmander SF 50. Overall, while Cyndaquil SS 59 could potentially see some play in a beginner Fire-type deck, there may be better options available for more competitive play.
