About Charmander PFL 11

Charmander PFL 11, Pokémon - basic, designed by HYOGONOSUKE first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.

Charmander PFL 11 (from Flashfire) would only fit into a Fire-type evolution deck that plans to evolve quickly into Charmeleon/Charizard, since its main role is simply being a Basic placeholder; however, it is not an especially strong option because its attack (Live Coal for 20) is underpowered and its “Agile” Ability (free Retreat with no Energy attached) is rarely impactful in competitive play. Most Fire decks would prefer sturdier or more useful Charmander versions, such as Charmander (Flashfire 12) with 70 HP and a stronger attack, or other printings that offer better survivability or utility, making them more reliable in evolution-based strategies. Overall, this Charmander is outclassed by better versions and would generally not see competitive play unless required by format limitations or collection constraints.
