This Gengar Spirit Link card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on utilizing M Gengar-EX as its main attacker, as it allows for the attachment of a Pokémon Tool without ending the turn when evolving into M Gengar-EX. However, in competitive play, there are better options such as Mega Turbo or other Trainer cards that provide more immediate benefits or support for the deck's strategy, so Gengar Spirit Link may not see as much play in top-tier decks.
