Everdream, Instant, designed by Nils Hamm first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Everdream could be beneficial in a control or tempo-oriented deck that values card draw and spell versatility. While it offers a cheap way to draw a card and potentially enhance other spells through splice, there may be more efficient card draw options available, such as Opt or Serum Visions, which provide immediate card advantage without the need for additional setup. Whether Everdream sees play would depend on the specific deck strategy and meta considerations.

If a spell is copied, choices made while casting it are copied, so the copy will have the same abilities spliced onto it as the original.

If all of the spell’s targets are illegal when the spell tries to resolve, it won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen, including those from cards spliced onto it.

The abilities spliced onto the spell happen last, after all of that spell’s other effects.
