Ovinomancer, Creature — human wizard, designed by Kev Walker first released in Nov, 1996 in the set Multiverse Gift Box and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A control deck focused on tempo and disruption would benefit from using Ovinomancer, as it offers a versatile removal option while also providing a potential blocker in the form of a Sheep token. However, there are arguably better cards with similar effects, such as Man-o'-War or Reflector Mage, which provide more immediate value without the drawback of sacrificing lands. Ovinomancer could see play in niche decks looking for a unique and flavorful option, but may not be a top-tier choice in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats.

Can target itself. This will cause it to be returned to your hand during announcement and will result in no sheep since it will not be on the battlefield at resolution so the effect fails since it target is illegal.
