Northern Cross Fire, Normal trap card, designed by Konami first released in Jan, 2026 in the set No set and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

“Northern Cross Fire” would mainly benefit decks that can consistently field high-Level monsters—especially Level 10-focused strategies like **Trains (Rank 10 Earth Machines)**, **Gizmek variants**, **Eldlich (with Level 10 Golden Lord)**, or certain **Blue-Eyes** builds that can stack Levels quickly. However, the card is fairly inconsistent and win-more: requiring a total of 10 Levels on your field means you’re often already committing significant resources, and as a Normal Trap it’s slow compared to modern extenders. The second effect is situational, needing both a Level 10 in GY and your opponent to control 10 total Levels, which won’t always be live against Link-heavy decks. Compared to this, cards like **Urgent Schedule** (for Machines), **Revolving Switchyard**, **Branded Fusion**, or generic power traps like **Infinite Impermanence** and **Evenly Matched** offer more immediate and reliable impact.
