A deck that focuses on Metal Energy acceleration and healing would benefit from including Lairon MT 53, as its Mend ability allows for recycling Metal Energy cards and healing damage counters. However, considering its relatively high energy cost and limited damage output, other Metal-type Pokemon cards such as Lucario V or Zacian V might be better options for competitive play due to their stronger attacks and abilities. Lairon MT 53 could still see play in more casual or themed decks that revolve around Metal Energy manipulation and tanking strategies.
