A deck that focuses on quickly building up Fire Energy on Infernape MD 22 would benefit from using this card, as the Mega Bravo attack can deal significant damage with multiple Fire Energy attached. However, in a competitive setting, there are likely better Stage 2 Fire-type Pokémon cards available with more powerful attacks and abilities, such as Charizard GX or Reshiram & Charizard GX, making Infernape MD 22 less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
