About Don Andres, the Renegade

Don Andres, the Renegade, Legendary creature — vampire pirate, designed by Daarken first released in Nov, 2023 in the set Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card would be a great addition to a Grixis control deck focused on casting noncreature spells and generating value through Treasure tokens. While Don Andres, the Renegade offers powerful buffs and token generation, it may be overshadowed by more versatile and impactful cards like Nicol Bolas, the Ravager or The Scarab God in competitive play. However, in a casual or themed Pirate deck, Don Andres could definitely shine and bring a unique playstyle to the table.
