About Auriok Survivors

Auriok Survivors, Creature — human soldier, designed by James Ryman first released in May, 2020 in the set New Phyrexia.

A deck focused on Equipment cards and graveyard recursion would benefit from including Auriok Survivors. This card synergizes well with strategies that rely on Equipment to boost creatures' power and toughness, as it provides a way to bring back and re-equip key pieces from the graveyard. While there may be more efficient options for graveyard recursion or Equipment synergy in certain decks, Auriok Survivors can be a strong inclusion in the right build, especially in a slower, more value-oriented strategy.

Rules

06/01/11

If Auriok Survivors is no longer on the battlefield when its enters-the-battlefield ability resolves, the Equipment will return to the battlefield and remain unattached.
