A deck focused on +1/+1 counters, such as a black-green Golgari or black-white Orzhov deck, would benefit from including Aetherborn Marauder as it can quickly grow in power by moving counters onto itself. However, there are better cards for this strategy, such as Winding Constrictor or Corpsejack Menace, which provide more consistent and powerful effects with +1/+1 counters. Aetherborn Marauder could see play in casual or budget decks, but may not be a top choice for competitive play due to its limited impact compared to other options.
