About Piloswine PFL 24
Piloswine PFL 24, Pokémon - stage 1, designed by Shinya Komatsu first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Piloswine PFL 24 fits best in a Water-type deck that already plans to evolve into Mamoswine, since as a Stage 1 with 70-damage Frost Smash for three Energy it serves mainly as a stepping stone rather than a standout attacker; its damage output is average, its three-Energy retreat is heavy, and Rising Lunge is unreliable due to the coin flip. In competitive terms, there are generally better Stage 1 Water attackers or support Pokémon available in most formats (and stronger Mamoswine versions if you are building around that line), as well as Basic Water Pokémon that can hit similar or higher numbers more efficiently and start attacking faster. Because it is evolution-dependent, somewhat slow, and not especially powerful or disruptive, this specific Piloswine would usually not see play outside of a dedicated Mamoswine evolution deck or a very limited-format setting.
