Nidorino AQ 55 could be beneficial in a Grass-type deck focused on status conditions and self-damage strategies. However, there are better Stage 1 Grass-type Pokémon cards with more powerful attacks and abilities that could be more effective in competitive play. Nidorino AQ 55 may not see much play in high-level competitive decks due to its relatively low damage output and self-damaging attack, but it could still be fun to use in casual or themed decks for a nostalgic touch.
