Mega Sharpedo ex PFL 61, Pokémon - stage 1 mega ex, designed by 5ban Graphics first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Mega Sharpedo ex (PFL 61) would fit best in an aggressive Darkness-type deck that focuses on self-damage or tank-style strategies, since Hungry Jaws can hit for 270 damage (120 + 150) if it has any damage counters, which is enough to knock out most Pokémon when fully powered; pairing it with cards that place damage counters on your own Pokémon (like certain Stadiums or Trainers) or that heal strategically after boosting damage would maximize its output, while Darkness Energy acceleration and draw support would help offset its heavier cost and Mega Evolution tempo loss. However, it is generally outclassed by more efficient Darkness attackers such as Darkrai ex variants, Roaring Moon ex, or even earlier Dark-type EX/GX cards that hit high numbers without needing to be damaged or without giving up 3 Prize cards when Knocked Out; the Mega Evolution ex rule is a major liability in competitive play, making it risky compared to modern multi-Prize Pokémon with better consistency and speed.
