Mega Heracross ex (PFL 108) fits best in a Grass-type tank or damage-trading deck that can heal, reduce damage, or force opponents to attack into it so Juggernaut Horn can swing for huge numbers after being hit; it would pair with Grass Energy acceleration and healing cards to keep it active while pressuring with Mountain Ramming’s solid 170 damage and minor mill effect. However, as a Mega Evolution ex that gives up 3 Prize cards when Knocked Out and requires heavy Energy investment without built-in acceleration or protection, it is generally outclassed by more efficient Grass attackers (such as faster single-Prize Grass attackers or modern Pokémon ex/V with lower setup cost and stronger damage scaling) and by other Mega Pokémon with more explosive damage output.
