A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and powerful beatdown tactics, such as a Fairy-Type deck or a deck that can easily summon high-level monsters, would benefit from including Majestic Mech - Goryu. However, due to its limitation of being sent to the Graveyard at the end of the turn it is Tribute Summoned, there are better cards available that offer more consistent effects and longevity on the field. Cards like Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning or Cyber Dragon could provide stronger effects and staying power in a variety of situations, making them potentially better choices for competitive play over Majestic Mech - Goryu.
