A deck that relies heavily on specific Pokémon with powerful abilities or attacks would benefit from using Lum Berry RS 84, as it can help protect those Pokémon from being hindered by Special Conditions. However, there are better cards such as Switch or Escape Rope that provide more versatile utility in a wider range of situations, making them more generally useful in most decks. While Lum Berry can be situationally useful, its limited scope may not justify its inclusion in many competitive decks.
