Errant Doomsayers would be beneficial in a white aggro deck looking to control the board by tapping down early blockers. However, there are better options like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, which not only taps creatures but also taxes noncreature spells. Errant Doomsayers could see play in a budget deck or as a sideboard option against aggressive strategies, but it may not be a top choice in competitive play due to its limited effect.
