“Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon” would fit best in Branded/Albaz-focused decks, especially hybrid builds that can Synchro Summon Level 8 monsters consistently (such as Branded variants using Bystials, Dogmatika engines, or Chaos lines), since its Quick Effect banish acts as a flexible extender to access Fallen of Albaz or key Albaz-support monsters directly from Deck or GY during the Main Phase, enabling disruption or Fusion plays on either turn, while its GY effect provides strong recycling and non-destruction removal by shuffling back a Level 8 Fusion and an opponent’s card; however, in most competitive Branded builds, cards like Albion the Branded Dragon, Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, and even Granguignol the Dusk Dragon offer more immediate pressure, interruption, or combo value with less setup, making this Synchro somewhat situational and better suited for Synchro-heavy or combo-oriented Albaz variants rather than streamlined meta Branded lists, so while it’s solid and synergistic
