A deck focused on sacrificing creatures and utilizing their abilities, such as a Golgari or Orzhov sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from Cultist of the Absolute. However, there are better cards like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite that provide a more impactful and immediate effect on the board. Cultist of the Absolute could see play in more casual or themed decks, but competitive decks may opt for more efficient options.
