Contested War Zone could benefit aggressive decks that aim to quickly deal damage to the opponent, as it provides a way to boost attacking creatures and potentially steal control of the land from the opponent. However, there are likely better options available for most decks, such as more consistent mana sources or lands with more impactful abilities. Overall, Contested War Zone may not see much play in competitive decks due to its situational nature and the availability of stronger land options in Magic: the Gathering.
