Blessed Reversal, Instant, designed by Zina Saunders first released in May, 1997 in the set Portal and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A deck that focuses on defensive strategies and gaining life would benefit from using Blessed Reversal in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards like Fog or Settle the Wreckage that offer more versatile and impactful effects for similar mana costs. Blessed Reversal may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited situational use compared to other options available.
