Big Apple, 3 a.m. would fit best in slower Commander decks that care about color fixing and incremental token value, especially Rat tribal (like Marrow-Gnawer), aristocrats strategies, or grindy control decks that can afford a tapped land and have use for repeatable token production in the late game; it’s particularly better in multiplayer where it can make multiple Rats at once. However, it’s fairly slow and inefficient compared to stronger options: **Path of Ancestry**, **Unclaimed Territory**, or shock/triome lands provide better fixing, while **Westvale Abbey** and **Castle Ardenvale** generate tokens more efficiently, and dedicated Rat cards like **Piper of the Swarm** or **Ogre Slumlord** produce more meaningful board presence.
